Style Considerations - Address Lettering Offered in 2 Styles

 Decal: The decal's lettering is cut out of the vinyl and does not feature a background color. The application tape laid over your decal will allow you to apply your cut lettering all at one time. When your decal is applied, it will look like your address has been expertly painted onto the surface of your mailbox.

 

Background Sticker: A sticker decal features a colored background, which you can choose from any of our available colors (minus reflective white) and you choose a different, contrasting color for the lettering. These stickers will be sent in one piece and can be peeled off of the transfer paper and applied as a whole. 

 

 

 

Decal Durability

 It's important to choose the right material that will stick to all surfaces including steel, aluminum and plastic, and the vinyl we chose is great for all of those surfaces and has the ability to withstand harsh weather conditions. It is rated for 3-4 years of outdoor use or more, depending on your mailbox's location and the amount of sun exposure received throughout the day. Many customers have come back to us after 6-7 years stating that their decal just now needs refreshing.

 

Size Considerations

 Consider the size of your mailbox before choosing the size to purchase. To determine the best size for your personal mailbox, measure the available space on the side of your mailbox and choose the sizes available accordingly. Product and Shipping Timeline

Our address decals have a 1-2 business day production time and delivery takes between 3-5 business days. If you need your order faster, send us a message and we can expedite your order or upgrade your shipping for an additional fee.

 

Color Options

We offer a variety of colors for our address decals. Our white vinyl stands out well against any darker mailbox surface and is easily read. The reflective vinyl is the same in those regards, but it has a silvery sheen to it during the day, and it is also highly visible at night, reflecting any light that shines its way. If your street is fairly dark at night with few street lights, reflective white will help out any service needing to find your location in the dark. Some HOAs and other areas require reflective vinyl lettering for emergency services. We have non-metallic textures for gold, silver, copper, and rose gold coloring available.

 We include helpful instructions catered to your purchase in the package so that this is an easy process. It only takes a few minutes!

 

 Cut Lettering:

• Application Instructions (featuring QR code for application video)
• Clean surface thoroughly; let dry completely
• Use burnishing tool to rub firmly over decal backing
• Peel backing away from tape; decal should stick to tape
• Place decal on surface and use burnishing tool to rub over tape, pressing firmly
• Remove tape

 

 

Background Sticker:

• Application instructions (featuring QR code for application video)
• Clean surface thoroughly; let dry completely
• Remove backing from decal
• Place decal on surface and use burnishing tool to apply pressure over the decal and to rub out any bubbles under the surface towards the nearest edge
